ERCSI
The IIJ Office of Emergency Response and Clearinghouse for Security Information works to identify problems and incidents that occur on the Internet at an early stage and provide swift responses for IIJ services. To this end it operates as the parent organization for our MITF malware observation activities and the IIJ-SECT emergency response team, while also monitoring general news and other public information, gathering vulnerability information, analyzing malware, and dealing with incidents that have actually occurred. Details of these activities are available in the Infrastructure Security section of the Internet Infrastructure Review (https://www.iij.ad.jp/en/dev/iir/) technology report published regularly by IIJ.
The Office of Emergency Response and Clearinghouse for Security Information also contributes to improving the overall security of the Internet by actively participating in the operation and activities of various related organizations and societies.
